Hike Along the Cape Fear River Trail

The 5.3-mile Cape Fear River Trail offers spectacular riverside views while taking you through some of the area’s loveliest natural woodlands and wetlands. Bring your camera along to capture the many picturesque moments you’ll come across, including pretty wooden bridges and a 700-foot stretch of boardwalk through atmospheric marshes.

The detailed exhibits of the museum bring incredible feats of bravery, heroism, sacrifice, strategy, and evolving methods of warfare to life. If you have any interest in military history, this museum is a must-see. 

Peruse Exhibits at the Arts Council of Fayetteville

Spending a cultural afternoon soaking up fine local art needn’t cost you a dime. The Arts Council of Fayetteville situated at 301 Hay Street always has interesting exhibitions showcasing paintings, photography, sculpture, and more. Visit Fayetteville Rose Garden
