The historic and picturesque city of Fayetteville, NC is one of the top spots in the state to practice your photography skills. 3. Mazarick Park

Stop by Mazarick Park at 1400 Belvedere Street, for great shots of Glenville Lake, secluded trails, and birds. The lake itself is a fantastic place to shoot at sunset, but you can get excellent pictures at any time of day. Plus, you can also do a little bit of fishing off the pier if you want to take a break from your photography. The two-mile path surrounding the park is easy to walk and full of exciting things to take pictures of.

4. Sweet Valley Ranch

Sweet Valley Ranch, at 2990 Sunnyside School Road, is a great place to get pictures of farm animals and rolling fields. You’ll find a huge variety of animals on-site, including pigs, peacocks, pigeons, rabbits, and swans, a huge hay barn, and sprawling hay fields that look great at sunset. Plus, there are a few interesting structures to snap, including the Pecan Lodge tiny house, the log cabin, and Sweet Valley Ranch’s pavilion.

You really don’t have to drive too far outside Fayetteville to get some incredible pictures.
