2017 VW Beetle: Engine Specs
Each 2017 Volkswagen Beetle uses a 1.8L turbocharged inline-four engine. This I4 creates 170 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque, and uses a Tiptronic® automatic transmission to pace through six speeds. Activate Sport Mode to get higher RPMs to make passing on the highway easier, and just create a more engaging drive performance.
